TDLAS Gas Measurement Modules

Gas measurement modules engineered from application requirements to finished-product delivery.

Specvaltech works with manufacturers of industrial gas analysers and detection equipment to turn a defined measurement requirement into a module that can be integrated, verified, certified and delivered.

We connect application engineering, optical and electronic architecture, mechanical packaging, specialised supply chains in China, testing, certification coordination and international delivery.

Extractive TDLAS Gas Measurement Module for Instrument Integration

A 140 × 110 × 96 mm module for installation inside your instrument. Sample gas is delivered to it by your pump and gas path.

The standard platform supports CH₄, CO₂, CO and NH₃. Final packaging, interfaces, validation scope and certification configuration are defined around the target instrument, market and industry.

Where to start

Where to start

01Measurement position

Must the measurement happen in the process stream or inside the host instrument?

This decision establishes the gas path, response chain, maintenance access and the responsibilities of the surrounding equipment.

Compare the two product structures

02Gas and range

Which gas and concentration range must the equipment measure?

The target gas, optical band, path length and expected background composition define the measurement platform.

Understand the platform architecture

03Operating envelope

What pressure, temperature, moisture and flow conditions will the finished module see?

These conditions determine compensation, materials, packaging and the validation plan.

Define the pressure envelope

04Certification configuration

Which market, industry and installation environment will the product enter?

The applicable route is translated into a defined electrical, mechanical and documentation configuration before the design is frozen.

Plan the certification route

Our own development

Measure at the pipe when the measurement point is in the pipe.

This is our own development: a pipeline-insertion methane module for high-concentration coal mine gas drainage pipelines. The measurement window sits in the gas flow, so there is no sample line between the pipe and the reading.

The decision is architectural. Use direct insertion when the process measurement point, suction pressure and removal of sample-line transport are decisive. The finished configuration can then be engineered around the intended installation and certification requirements.

How we supply

One engineering path from requirements to delivery

The measurement module is developed as part of a defined finished configuration. Gas, range, measurement position, operating envelope, interfaces, packaging and certification requirements are treated as one engineering baseline.

Specvaltech carries that baseline through selection, circuitry, packaging, assembly, verification, certification coordination and export delivery under one legal entity.

01Application baseline

Target gas, range, measurement position, pressure, interfaces, market and certification requirements are defined together.

02Measurement architecture

Pipeline-Insertion or extractive instrument integration is selected according to the real gas path.

03Finished configuration

Electronics, packaging, materials, interfaces, validation and certification scope are frozen as one controlled product configuration.

04Verified delivery

Assembly, testing, documentation, certification coordination and export delivery follow the agreed configuration.

Before configuration is frozen

Questions that define the finished module

These inputs connect the measurement function to the host equipment, installation environment, certification route and acceptance plan.

Which measurement architecture should we assess first?

Use the Pipeline-Insertion architecture when the measurement window must sit inside the coal mine gas drainage pipeline. Use the extractive architecture when the host pump and gas path deliver a sample to a module inside an analyser or detection instrument.

What information should we provide?

Send the target gas and range, background composition and moisture, measurement position, process or sample conditions, pressure, temperature, interfaces, target market, industry and intended certification route. Conditions not yet known are recorded as open items with a resolution path.

How are electrical and gas interfaces established?

The platform baseline provides the starting point. Connector family, pinout, protocol, gas fittings, tubing, shielding, diagnostics and fault behaviour are captured in a project interface schedule and frozen with the finished configuration.

How is certification handled?

Certification is engineered into the defined finished-module configuration. We align the electrical design, packaging, materials, interfaces and documentation with the applicable route, then coordinate the required testing and certification for final delivery.

What accompanies the delivered module?

The agreed delivery package can include the controlled specification, interface schedule, test and calibration records, traceability information, integration documentation and certification records applicable to that configuration.

Who is responsible for contracting and export delivery?

HUBEI NINESEA IMPORT & EXPORT CO., LTD carries product contracting, supply-chain coordination and export execution. Specvaltech is its engineering-measurement business; SpecVal · 思贝沃 is the product brand used for supply.
